The Sun is the Gift of God for You

The Sun is a part of your life.

Even if you can’t see it, it’s constantly radiating its life-defining beams. There may be fluctuations but its inner nature is unchanging: giving light and heat to let the sentinel beings lead a comfortable life.

Even the darkness is expressed with the lack of light, even the cold is compared to the warmth.

The Sun doesn’t mind if it is taken for granted, it always provides its best for us.

However, it’s our responsibility to avoid sunburnt or being cold – we need to be able to resonate with its characteristics and manifestations.

Of course, we must eat, drink, breathe but nothing is possible without the Sun, the gift of God.

The gift of God.

Happy indeed the man whom God corrects!

Happy indeed the man whom God corrects!
Then do not refuse this lesson from Shaddai.
For he who wounds is he who soothes the sore,
and the hand that hurts is the hand that heals.
Six times he will deliver you from sorrow,
and the seventh, evil shall not touch you.
In time of famine, he will save you from death,
and in wartime from the stroke of the sword.
You shall be safe from the lash of the tongue,
and see the approach of the brigand without fear.
You shall laugh at drought and frost,
and have no fear of the beasts of the earth.
You shall have a pact with the stones of the field,
and live in amity with wild beasts.
You shall find your tent secure,
and your sheepfold untouched when you come.
You shall see your descendants multiply,
your offspring grow like the grass in the fields.
In ripe age you shall go to the grave,
like a wheat sheaf stacked in due season.
All this, we have observed: it is true.
Heed it, and do so to your profit.

Job 5:17-27

The Good Shepherd

Jesus spoke to them again:

“I tell you most solemnly,
I am the gate of the sheepfold.
All others who have come
are thieves and brigands;
but the sheep took no notice of them.
Anyone who enters through me will be safe:
he will go freely in and out
and be sure of finding pasture.
The thief comes
only to steal and kill and destroy.
I have come
so that they may have life
and have it to the full.
I am the good shepherd:
the good shepherd is one who lays down his life for his sheep.
The hired man, since he not the shepherd
and the sheep do not belong to him,
abandons the sheep and runs away
as soon as he sees a wolf coming,
and then the wolf attacks and scatters the sheep;
this is because he is only a hired man
and has no concern for the sheep.
I am the good shepherd;
I know my own
and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me
an I know the Father;
and I lay down my life for my sheep.
And there are other sheep I have
that are not of this fold,
and these I have to lead as well.
They too will listen to my voice,
and there will be only one flock,
and one shepherd.
The Father loves me,
because I lay down my life
in order to take it up again.
No one takes it from me;
I lay it down of my own free will,
ans as it is in my power to lay it down,
so it is in my power to take it up again;
and this is the command I have been given by my Father.”

John 10:7-18

Humility

Humility is an essential attitude for success in the spiritual life. Any self-conceit, whether nurtured by superior intelligence, wealth, a high position, or the praise of others, is an obstacle on the path. Genuine humility is not posturing. It requires a constant willingness to deny oneself, to be critical of oneself, and to be open to Heaven’s guidance even when it differs from one’s own preconceived concepts.

Salvation in Christ a free gift

As I Can See

And you were dead, through the crimes and the sins in which you used to live
when you were following the way of this world, obeying the ruler who governs
the air,a the spirit who is at work in the rebellious. We all were among them
too in the past, living sensual lives, ruled entirely by our own physical desires
and our own ideas; so that by nature we were as much under God’s anger as the
rest of the world. But God loved us with so much love that he was generous
with his mercy: when we were dead through our sins, he brought us to life
with Christ it is through grace that you have been saved and raised us up
with him and gave us a place with him in heaven, in Christ Jesus.
This was to show for all ages to come, through his goodness toward…

Faithfulness to the Law is a Condition of God’s Aid

As I Can See

“Be strong and stand firm, for you are the man to give this people possession of the land that I swore to their fathers I should give to them. Only be strong and stand firm and be careful to keep all the Law which my servant Moses laid on you. Never swerve from this to right or left, and then you will be happy in all you do. Have the book of this Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may carefully keep everything that is written in it. Then you will prosper in your dealings, then you will have success. Have I not told you: Be strong and stand firm? Be fearless then, be confident, for go where you will, Yahweh your God is with you.”

Asked

As I Can See

I am often asked why I’m so different or bigot or just simply, why I do not lead a life like any other.

For a long while, I always started to explain, reason, give insights to share my understanding, being always polite, listening and only later respond. However, all these ended up with the unpleasant feeling of not being heard, listened, cared. It took time I realized, most of the conversations were one-sided, nobody was really curious about my response. As I grew, I learned and experienced: for everything a mutual give and receive pattern is necessary…

I am firm in my faith. To be blunt, I do not believe. I know.

I was called by God, in several ways, although, in the midst of the spiritual growing plenty of times I missed the guidance, skipped the boat of fortune and was stubborn in selfishly vain. Whenever I was asked…

The Importance of Prayer

As I Can See

You know your limits and weaknesses don’t you? That is why you need prayer. Where can you get the necessary help and guidance? Is there anyone to turn to? The most important thing in prayer is the attitude of the person who is praying. The most essential thing is your promise and commitment to God that says, “I will go toward this destiny without reservation.” If anything wants to block you – even a hurricane or tornado is coming at you – you must go forward. Once you gain such grit saying, “I am ready for anything! Let it come at me anytime,” then nothing will stop you. That is the decisive promise and attitude. Unless you have that absolute pledge and commitment first, God will not be able to help you. This pledge is the beginning of your prayer.

God does not want to waste His time either. Can…
