Jesus, Who Possessed God

When humankind restores its dominion over the whole by finding their original hearts, then they will be granted the authority to command any being in the creation through the activities of their minds. Thus far, no one has perfected the mind’s ability to dominate like this.

Moreover, we still stagnate in the sorrowful state where human beings cannot assert their authority to act systematically according to the Will of God. Satan has much cause to rejoice due to this. As long as humankind remains stagnant, this condition puts God into a state of anguish. You must clearly understand this.

What was the wish that God wanted to realize through Jesus, whom He sent after 4,000 years of preparation? Because in the course of 4,000 years, there was not even one person who gained possession of the God who was lost, Jesus wished that humankind could possess God through him.

Consequently, Jesus arose as the perfected possessor of God. What is more, Jesus was the person who was sent to represent the mind of humankind in the human world and the external aspect of God’s heart.

Two thousand years have passed since the coming of Jesus. What is the condition of glory that every people, tribe and individual must come to possess? It is none other than possessing God. It is the hope of Jesus and God that such a person will come forward.

Jesus came to the earth and possessed God. Furthermore, as his mind established the base of reciprocity with human beings, his body represented the body of God.

Jesus emerged after setting the standard to own the mind of God and the creation. He came bodily with the principled right of possession. Therefore, the day he appeared was the day of God representing the whole universe.

Suppose the saints of today, believing in Jesus and understanding God, obtain God’s comprehensive right of unchanging possession. What would they do? You must join the standard of value centering on that right of possession with your mind and your physical body and present it before the whole of heaven and earth. This is what Jesus left behind on the earth. You must understand that the ideology of the Second Advent of today longs for that day to come.

What is the mission the Lord of the Second Advent must do after he comes to the earth? What is the ultimate purpose Christians must fulfill in the last days? No matter how much Christians have come to possess God with their minds, or no matter how much you have come to possess God with your minds, there still remains one condition (of accusation) and that is the fact that you have failed to own your body. For this reason, you must complete your right to possess your body now and emerge as the embodiment of God’s love and the incarnation who can testify to the original nature of God. When will such people emerge? You must understand that Jesus came to raise such people.

God’s work begins here on Earth

If there had been no fall the situations here on earth and in heaven would have been perfectly parallel. On earth there would be the individual, family, society, nation and world under God and the same would be seen in the spirit world. One united world would have occurred. It is God’s will to see perfection come first here on earth; God never intended to have His Kingdom established in spirit world and then copied here on earth. Christians commonly think that the Heavenly Kingdom in spirit world is the perfected kingdom but that is not true.

Without perfection here on earth no perfection can be obtained there. There was always a blueprint in the mind of God, the original plan that always has been and will always remain perfect, even though the physical realization of these plans has never yet been seen. Jesus prayed, “Thy will be done here on earth as it is in heaven.” Jesus knew the perfection of God’s will in Heaven and he brought that will to earth, coming to establish perfection here so that mankind would bring the kingdom into heaven. That was God’s plan.

God has not yet seen the perfection of His original plan here on earth, however, even after the coming of Jesus Christ. Because of the crucifixion Jesus could not accomplish the full purpose of his coming, the perfection of Adam’s level. It was not at all God’s original plan to fulfill the ideal by killing the Messiah. If that was indeed God’s method then just sending him to a nation that was unprepared to understand him would have been sufficient. Sacrifice is sometimes necessary, but God did not intend the sacrifice of human life as the key to complete salvation. Because of the crucifixion Jesus Christ was not allowed to reach the fullest degree of perfection and no family, social or national perfection was obtained. Therefore, it is most logical that the Messiah must come a second time.

What will Jesus do when he comes? Will he come to wipe out the world? The word “judgment” is frequently misunderstood to mean that God will wipe out everything in anger. That is not the purpose of the Messiah’s coming a second time. The whole purpose is to fulfill the mission that was left undone 2,000 years ago, to work for individual, family, social, national and world perfection. Judgment is the constructive work of God to see the fulfillment of the Kingdom of God here on earth.

Because the work of God is realistic and physical, the Messiah’s coming on the clouds in the sky does not make sense. By interpreting the Bible literally many Christians anticipate Jesus’ appearance in the sky, but that could not be so. People perceive God as being supernatural, someone who could perform even the miracle of bringing Jesus on the clouds. Why would Christianity be necessary in that case? Why would faith be necessary? Why didn’t God use supernatural power to build up the Kingdom of God in the first place? Why has He had to wait for 6,000 years to accomplish this?

I want you to know that God’s will in sending Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago perfectly parallels the coming of Adam in the Garden of Eden. The Lord of the Second Advent will come for the same purpose. In other words, God’s will, Adam’s purpose, Jesus’ purpose and the purpose of the Second Coming are all the same. Truth is unchanging, being the beginning and the end. The will of God cannot be changed or tarnished by time but will be the same forever. God has a formula and when it is fulfilled God will seal it. That particular formula is still there, unfulfilled; God is waiting for man to fulfill that pure, unadulterated standard.

Man stands between God and Satan

As I Can See

In a way God fears man, and Satan fears man also because of man’s ability to betray. God is absolute good, and He never changes His position; Satan is absolute evil and he never changes his position either. In this respect God and Satan are similar. However, man is a mixture of good and evil. Man stands between God and Satan and has the ability to change. Therefore, man is unpredictable. One day a man may profess his untiring faith in God and desire to serve Him; and the next day the same man may curse God, unite with Satan and become his slave.

Since God did not know how man would respond to His providence for the Messiah, He had no choice but to predict two contradictory results dual prophecies, each possible depending on man’s actions. Thus the faith of man was the factor determining which one of the…

The Lord to come is the person who will embrace everything

The Lord to come is the person who will embrace everything from the individual, the family, the society, religious groups, the nations, the world, and so forth and stand before Heaven. He will emerge with unlimited hope and value which we cannot even imagine. Therefore, as an unchanging being, you must make the determination to act on behalf of the universal dispensation and take responsibility for it. You must learn how to fight with Satan. This is the only way you can confidently meet him in the last days. That person is the essence of our human love, life, and truth. We can stand before all things only if we also can represent the love, life, and truth.

What are your lives like, you who are to take up this kind of position? Are there any among you who are concerned about things centering on yourselves? There will surely come a time when such people will break apart. You must become people who can use the world as a foothold and live for the sake of everything and be happy even after abandoning everything.

Do you have anything that you can offer to him? You must understand that even your bodies can be absorbed into the universe. You must understand that God wishes that you will voluntarily offer yourselves to him with joyful hearts. This is also what all things desire.

If you cannot do this, then even if you live for thousands of years, you won’t be able to build a relationship of love with all created things. After forgetting yourself completely, you must be happy that you are possessing the world. God hopes for the one person who can be as happy as if he possessed the whole even when he possesses only a part, realizing that something is both a part of the whole and the representative of the whole.

Human life on earth has been full of bloodshed. In other words, there was never a time when peace was realized on earth. However, if you connect with him and realize the value of that love, life, and truth, you will fight at the risk of your life. That time is the period of revolution without bloodshed; it is the time when we can enjoy eternal, universal peace. In order to usher in that time, you must be able to offer everything.

Because it is the principle of creation that things which are empty will be filled up again, without fail, if you yourself offer your body, then something will fill in that vacuum. Humanity has been ignorant of this fact until today. Jesus was able to establish the standard of salvation through the cross in the vacuum created by offering his body.

God has been seeking beings who represent His heart

For six thousand years, God has been seeking substantial beings who can represent His internal heart and go beyond the point of intersection. However, if God cannot find that kind of person and cannot manifest His internal heart and His wishes through that one person, God will always remain in the position of transcendence and will not be able to create a substantial relationship with human beings at all.

Originally, human beings were supposed to connect with that one center of altruism and begin their life. However, because of the fall, they could not begin their lives out of altruism but instead began them out of selfishness. It came to be that they always tried to build their relationships centered on self-centered thoughts.

Now then, we who are marching toward the goal of eternal freedom and peace must cast aside the fallen nature which tries to conclude every affair to our own benefit. Transcending that, we must be able to live for other people first. By doing so, everything will make a reciprocal relationship of service and circle around for eternity.

In order for Jesus’ divine and human nature to substantially manifest themselves, we must also build an altruistic relationship of reciprocity with all existing beings in the same way that all things exist in reciprocal relationships. Moreover, that relationship must exceed the individual to expand out toward the family, nation, world, and the universe. Eventually, all such comprehensive relationships must be built for the sake of that one central being.

In this way, by offering our love, life, and truth before that eternal and unchanging center, we must forge bonds with his love, life and truth, which is the core of his value. We must inherit them and experience them.

That one being, that master, is none other than the person who is trying to connect with us by uniting disparate things into oneness: the humanistic hope and the heavenly hope, the historical life and the dispensational life, the historical love and the dispensational love. This person is the Lord of the Second Advent.

That person has been seeking for you for 6,000 years. In order to stand before him, you must attain qualifications in regards to truth, life, and love. You must not take away from his dignity. You must be able to connect everything in the universe in this relationship.

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” In order for you yourself to become the way, the truth, and the life, you must embrace the whole universe and bring harmony to it.

Friends of God

As I Can See

Ladies and gentlemen, your sons and daughters grow up. When you reach the age of one hundred and your children reach the age of eighty, the relationship of father and son also becomes a relationship of friends. Friends! We cannot compare the physical strength of a woman with that of a man. Women can never defeat men physically; but, through love, wife and husband are attracted to one another and they come to resemble each other. If Adam and Eve had become the objects of God’s love, would that have been pleasing to Him? Absolutely, yes! God created the universe before Adam and Eve perfected themselves as the objects of His love. God had the ambitious hope that in the future they would be His ideal objects. Man stands between God and Satan

Thus the faith of man was the factor determining which one of the two prophecies would be fulfilled:

In the case of Jesus, if the chosen people of Israel demonstrated faith and united with him, then he would be accepted. The full realization of the prophecy of the Lord of glory would result.

On the other hand, if the people rejected the Messiah when he came, inevitably the second prophecy, that of the suffering Christ, would be fulfilled. And history shows that the chosen people took the second way. Therefore, the prophecy of the suffering Lord became reality instead of the prophecy of the Lord of glory. Thus the crucifixion and the story of the suffering Christ became the course of history.

Since the prophecy of the suffering Christ became fact in the time of Jesus, the prophecy of the Lord of glory has been left unfulfilled. And this is the prophecy which will be fulfilled at the time of the Lord of the Second Advent.

I would like to also observe that the Bible does not provide much record of the life of Jesus prior to his public ministry, except for the story of his birth and a few accounts of his childhood. Haven’t you ever wondered why?

For 30 years Jesus lived in great rejection and humiliation. There were many events and circumstances which grieved and agonized Jesus. He was a truly misunderstood person – in his own society and even among his own family. Nobody, absolutely nobody, treated him as the Son of God. He was not even accorded the common respect due to any man. His society ridiculed him. God’s heart was very deeply grieved by Jesus’ life. If I revealed just a glimpse of some of the situations of heartbreak and sorrow in the life of Jesus, that obscure figure, the man of Nazareth, you would not only be shocked and stunned, but you would burst into tears of sorrow.

God did not wish mankind to know the tragedy, the heart breaking reality of the humiliation of Jesus Christ. The death of Jesus was neither his will nor his fault. The death of Jesus was murder, and his body was taken by Satan. Our salvation in Christianity comes not from the cross but from the resurrection. Without the resurrection, Christianity has no power The crucifixion itself was a criminal act of faithlessness. However, the resurrected Jesus brought new hope, new forgiveness, and a new power of salvation. Therefore, when we place our faith in Jesus Christ of resurrection and unite with him, our salvation comes.

Please ask seriously in your prayers for a final answer on these matters. Ask either Jesus Christ or God Himself. If Jesus had lived and fulfilled his primary mission of bringing the Kingdom of God on earth, Christianity would never have been what it is today. The purpose of Jesus’ coming was for the salvation of the world. The Jewish people were to be God’s instruments. However, salvation was not intended only for God’s chosen people. For every soul upon the face of the earth, Jesus is the savior. He is the savior of all mankind. Since Jesus left his mission uncompleted, he also left us the promise of his Second Coming.

Then let us examine when the end of the world will come. This is very important to us. The gospel says that in the last days God will separate the sheep from the goats. What is the difference between these two kinds of animals? Sheep recognize their master, the shepherd, while goats do not follow a shepherd. Today you know that our world is divided into two opposing camps. One is the democratic world, the other is the communist world. Our free world says, “There is a God.” We accept our shepherd. The communist world says, “God does not exist.?’ They deny their master. Thus the free world may be symbolized by sheep, and the communist world by goats. At the time of the formation of these two conflicting ideological worlds we can know we have come to the end of the world.

How will the Lord of the Second Advent come? Our position as Christians exactly parallels the position of the elders, scribes, and priests at the time of Jesus. In those days, the people were waiting for Elijah and the Messiah to arrive in the clouds of heaven. Why did the people think this way? Why did they hold this kind of belief?

They were simply following the Bible prophecy written down in Daniel 7:13:

‘I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him.’

Because of the great prophet Daniel, the people of Israel had every reason to expect the arrival of the Messiah with the clouds of heaven. Christians are expecting the arrival of the Lord of the Second Advent in the same way today, from the clouds of heaven.

John said, ‘. . . many deceivers have gone out into the world, men who will not acknowledge the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh; such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist.’ (II John 7)

The Bible says that many people were denying the appearance of Jesus Christ in the flesh. And John condemned those people as the antichrist. But let us not forget the Old Testament prophecy of the coming of the Son of God in the clouds of heaven. Unless we know the whole truth, we, like the people of Jesus’ time, become victims of the words of the Bible.

Then, may I ask, what would you do if the Lord returned to earth not in the clouds but as a man in the flesh? What would you do? I am telling you, the Lord of the Second Advent will in fact appear as a Son of Man with flesh and bones. The first thing you may want to say is, “Reverend Moon, you are a heretic.”

Friends of God

If, after having perfected themselves as the objects of God’s love, they had asked God to create something greater than what He had already created, do you think He could have done so?

Given the infinite ambition of our consciences, we should know that God can create everything we desire. God created us with the value of true love object partners. Because this absolute value was lost, it must be restored. This restoration is the purpose of human life and history. God established religions and promised that someday each of the founders of those religions would return.

Christianity has taught that Jesus will return. In Buddhism, they speak of the return of Buddha. Confucianism alludes to a new Confucius. Likewise, in Islam, believers await the return of Mohammed. What could be the reason God established the different religions? We need to understand that the Will of God is accomplished centered on His beloved children, children who are like God’s flesh and blood. With that type of son and daughter, God wants to form families, tribes, races and nations.

We need to understand, then, what the Messiah is. The Lord in his second coming is the person who completes the ideal for which all religions have longed, descending to the earth with the root of true love from the eternal God. He will become a True Father. Through the restoration of that lost true love, he will work to establish a true family on earth, on the foundation of true life and true lineage.

That is the purpose of the providence of salvation. Due to the fall, God lost the true mother as well as the children of Adam’s family. This means that God could not have true children. There was no family connected to the blood lineage which was to come from God’s love. Through fallen parents, blood ties originated from false love and false life, and the struggle between mind and body began. Adam and Eve became enemies to each other. There was a fight to the death between Adam’s sons.

The providence of salvation is the providence of restoration, which God has been leading in order to restore his lost sons and daughters, restore the absolute unity of mind and body, restore the absolute unity of husband and wife, and restore the absolute unity of parents and children in the true love of God. This true family, which is qualified to live eternally with God, should be connected to Christianity, which is in the position of the bride to the Lord. By establishing such a blood relationship with God, we can realize united families, united tribes, united races and united nations, which thus will bring about the united world, the culmination of the providence of salvation.
